Living Life on The Harmony Point

The more awake someone becomes, the more they live in an optimal state of being.  That place where physical, mental, and spiritual realms are in alignment. A place I call “The Harmony Point.”

To better understand this concept, consider the following exercise:

  1. Sit upright on the floor, close your eyes, and find that place of balance … that place where minimal energy is needed to keep you in an upright position.
  2. Now, move your head up and down, side to side, and twist it around in both directions.  Do the same for each body section, starting with arms and shoulders, working your way down.  Once again, find that place of balance.
  3. Finally, imagine you are on a cliff with 25 mph winds blowing in your face.  Imagine leaning into that wind, until once again you find that place where minimal energy is needed to keep you in your desired position.

This is metaphor in the physical realm, for living your life on The Harmony Point.

In step number 1, you find that place of balance … wherever you find yourself when you first wake up.  In step number 2, you find a new place of balance, as you explore what is, and update with what’s warranted.  In step number 3, you explore all of the outside forces impinging upon you, and lean into those that support the reality envisioned by who you are called to be.

If you are anxious or depressed, unable to sleep, or are uncertain as to how to proceed, I hope these simple concepts and exercise help.

Until next time …
